01. The service

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to Protify, operated by Akshay Komar (“Protify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Protify provides meal logging, food scanning, nutrition estimates, protein tracking and AI-assisted meal-planning features.

By downloading, accessing or using Protify, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

02. Accounts and eligibility

Some features require an account. You agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and to keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and should tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Protify is not directed to children under 13. You must be legally able to agree to these Terms in your location, or use Protify with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian where required by law.

03. Nutrition and health information

Food recognition, portion sizes, calorie and macro values, protein estimates, meal plans and suggestions may be generated automatically or from information you enter. They can be incomplete, imprecise or wrong, and are provided for general informational and tracking purposes only.

You are responsible for deciding whether a meal, plan or suggestion is suitable for you. Stop using a feature if it causes concern or discomfort.

04. Your content

You retain rights you have in information and material you submit, such as meal details, profile and plan preferences, voice transcripts and food photos. You give Protify permission to host, store, transmit, adapt for technical formats and process that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and improve the features you request, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content. Do not submit unlawful material or another person’s information or image without appropriate permission.

05. Premium, pricing and billing

Protify may offer optional monthly and yearly Premium subscriptions through Google Play. Availability, features, billing period, introductory offers (if any), and price may vary by country and may change over time.

• The exact price, currency, billing period and renewal terms are displayed by Google Play before you confirm. Storefront pricing and currency conversion are controlled by Google Play and may differ by country.
• Unless checkout says otherwise, a paid subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period until canceled. Google Play charges the payment method associated with your Play account.
• To prevent the next renewal, cancel in Google Play’s subscription settings before the renewal date. Removing the app or signing out does not cancel a subscription.
• After cancellation, Premium generally remains available until the current paid period ends. Refunds are handled under Google Play’s policies and applicable law.
• Google Play and RevenueCat handle purchase processing and subscription status. Protify does not receive your full payment-card number.

Premium benefits are the features described in the app when you subscribe. We will not knowingly describe a feature or offer in a misleading way. Review the live offer screen and checkout details before purchasing.

06. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Protify, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, evade usage limits, reverse engineer the service except where applicable law permits, submit malicious code, or use it to violate another person’s rights or any law.

We may take reasonable steps to protect the service and users if we detect abuse, fraud, a security risk or a legal violation.

07. Protify’s intellectual property

Protify and its software, name, branding, visual design and original materials are owned by Akshay Komar or the relevant rights holders. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and applicable law. No other rights are transferred to you.

08. Availability and changes

We work to keep Protify useful and available, but features may change and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, outages or circumstances outside our control. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. We will revise the effective date above and provide notice of material changes where reasonably appropriate. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using the service; changes do not remove rights that applicable law does not allow us to waive.

09. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Protify is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated food recognition, nutrition estimates, meal plans or recommendations.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a consumer right, warranty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. To the extent the law permits, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. These Terms do not limit liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other liability that applicable law requires to remain unlimited.

10. Ending use

You may stop using Protify at any time. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a serious breach of these Terms, security risk or legal requirement, and will act consistently with applicable law.

Account and data deletion requests are explained in the Privacy Policy. Ending app use or deleting an account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription; manage it separately through Google Play.

11. Applicable law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in India, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights and rules that apply where you live. Any dispute will be handled by a competent forum under applicable law.
